Editorial Methodology

Core Mission

Marsad Site serves as a neutral, academic archive for conspiracy theories. Our goal is documentation and analysis, not promotion or ridicule. We treat "conspiracy theories" as sociopolitical phenomena worthy of study.

Source Selection Criteria

We prioritize primary sources from the originators of a theory, alongside peer-reviewed historical analysis, scientific reports, and reputable fact-checking organizations.

"Theory" vs. Fact

We define a "theory" under the colloquial sense of an explanatory hypothesis regarding a covert plot. We classify the status of each theory based on the weight of available evidence:

  • Proven/Historical: Conspiracies that have been confirmed by official records (e.g., MKUltra).
  • Plausible: Theories with significant circumstantial evidence but no smoking gun.
  • Unproven: Claims lacking sufficient evidence.
  • Debunked: Claims conclusively refuted by hard data.

Correction Policy

If new evidence emerges, we update articles immediately. We welcome corrections with cited sources.
